The Bressingham Hall
Bressingham Hall – Bed & Breakfast
DUE TO EXTENSIVE REFURBISHMENT, WE REGRET THAT BRESSINGHAM HALL WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR THE 2015 SEASON
PLEASE CHECK BACK IN 2016
The 1760 Georgian Mansion which sits centrally on the site and overlooking the original Island Beds of perennials created by Alan Bloom in 1953 was Alan Bloom and his family’s home. This is a perfect place to stay for gardeners and any visitor who enjoys relaxing in a homely atmosphere surrounded by beautiful gardens.
Informal, relaxing Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Bressingham Hall – once home to Alan Bloom MBE VMH—one of the greatest plantsmen of the 20th century and founder of Blooms Nurseries Ltd. We welcome B & B guests to this listed Georgian style house set in the picturesque setting of the Bressingham Gardens, close to the Bressingham Steam Experience and Blooms of Bressingham Plant Centre.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation is usually available from early April through to the end of October – however, we regret that we will not be open to guests during the 2015 season due to extensive refurbishment and upgrading of the accommodation at the hall.
During stays guests are free to wander in the Dell Garden at any time and also Foggy Bottom and the adjacent gardens and Steam Museum, including the ‘Dad’s Army Museum’ and Blooms of Bressingham Plant Centre during normal opening hours, at no extra cost. The family nursery, managed by Alan’s grandson Jason Bloom is just over the road where by prior arrangement you can collect your own little bit of Bressingham to take home for your own garden.
