The 1760 Georgian Mansion which sits centrally on the site and overlooking the original Island Beds of perennials created by Alan Bloom in 1953 was Alan Bloom and his family’s home. This is a perfect place to stay for gardeners and any visitor who enjoys relaxing in a homely atmosphere surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Informal, relaxing Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Bressingham Hall – once home to Alan Bloom MBE VMH—one of the greatest plantsmen of the 20th century and founder of Blooms Nurseries Ltd.. We welcome B & B guests to this listed Georgian style house set in the picturesque setting of the Bressingham Gardens. It is set right in the heart of the world renowned Bressingham Gardens, close to the Bressingham Steam Experience and Blooms of Bressingham Plant Centre.

Guests are free to wander in the Dell Garden at any time and also Foggy Bottom and the adjacent gardens and Steam Museum including the ‘Dad’s Army Museum’ and Blooms of Bressingham Plant Centre during normal opening hours. The family nursery, managed by Alan’s grandson Jason Bloom is just over the road where by prior arrangement you can collect your own little bit of Bressingham to take home for your own garden.
